Apple has officially unveiled its biggest iPhone lineup update yet, introducing the iPhone Duo, the company’s first foldable iPhone, alongside the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The new models bring major upgrades in display technology, cameras, performance, battery life and AI features.
While the iPhone 18 Pro focuses on improving the traditional Pro iPhone experience, the iPhone Duo introduces a completely new foldable design with Apple’s largest iPhone display ever.

The biggest difference between the two models comes down to design.
The iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable iPhone. It features a 5.4-inch outer display and a much larger 7.6-inch inner display when opened. Apple says the inner screen offers 50 percent more display area than the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The iPhone 18 Pro keeps the traditional iPhone design but adds a new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, the A20 Pro chip and significant battery improvements.

Apple has also launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900 in India.
Pre-orders will begin on September 12 at 5:30 PM IST, with retail availability starting September 18.

iPhone Duo Display and Design
The iPhone Duo brings the biggest display ever seen on an iPhone.
When closed, the device features a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR outer display. Users can open the phone to reveal a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR inner display.
Both displays support ProMotion, Always-On functionality and up to 3,000 nits of peak outdoor brightness.
Apple has also added a special nano-texture finish to the inner display. The finish reduces glare and reflections while helping minimize the appearance of the crease.
The foldable iPhone uses a grade 5 titanium frame and hinge cover. Apple has also developed a precision hinge designed to provide a smooth opening and closing experience.
